A rebel territory behind the tourist scene: Negotiating national belonging and indigeneity in Quintana Roo

When we think of tourism or migration, international mobility. However, the history Quintana Roo teaches us that and migration can be forces nationalization. This article invites to revisit southeast Yucatan peninsula, in order understand mechanisms presided over its inclusion into Mexican nation logic resistance movement was opposed it.
